Senna Alata is native to tropical South America. It is an early secondary, fast growing spreading shrub growing 2-3 metres tall with large compound leaves and golden yellow elongated flowers.

Soak seeds overnight to aid germination. Sow seeds in spring about 50mm deep, ideally at around 21C soil temp. Keep warm and moist and provide indirect light. Germination can take from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on conditions.
