Hairy Melon seeds

Benincasa hispida var. chieh-gua

Also called winter melon, fuzzy squash, mo gwa, mo qua.
Can be eaten whole as one-week old, or as mature winter melon. Has a mild zuchinni taste with flesh that absorbs other flavours. It can be stuffed, or cut into chunks for braising, stir-frying, steaming, or soups.

Grows during the warmer and drier weather. Similar growing conditions to other cucurbits/gourds during the warmer months. Ensure that regular watering is done to ensure prolific production of gourds.

Contains approx 10 seeds in a packet.
Comes in a paper seed envelope.
