Evening Sun Ornamental Sunflower seeds

This packet contains 40 seeds that were harvested in the summer of 20-21.

‘Evening Sun’ Sunflowers, Helianthus anuus, is a striking summer flowering plant to 150cm with a dark centre and petals that range from yellow to orange, burgundy and bronze. This is an ornamental variety. Each plant produces multiple flowers. It is fast growing and good as a cut flower, or for adding height and interest to borders.

Sow seeds directly, 6mm deep and 30cm apart, in spring and early summer. Seedlings emerge in 7-14 days.

All our seed is open-pollinated and grown on our small and unruly plot in Central Victoria, Australia.
