Scabiosa Drumstick – Min 30 Seds

Scabiosa drumstick is a great filler to have in the garden for use in bouquets! I use it early in spring as foliage, and then through summer and autumn as both flower filler and decorative seed heads. The seed heads dry beautifully if harvested before the seeds fully ripen.

This plant is fast to germinate, is easy to care for and provides abundant stems on plants approximately 1mh x 50cmw. It’s a short-lived perennial so you can leave it in place for a few years, it tends to self-seed if allowed. I plant it in autumn for strong healthy stems in the warmer months. Needs light to germinate so only lightly cover. Pinch to create bushier plants.

There is a small chance that this seed is cross pollenated with lavender blue, white or burgundy scabiosa, but I have not found any evidence of crossing in the plants I’m growing out.

The seed envelope will include at least 30 healthy seeds.
