PLANTING :Â Hardy grass suited to most soil conditions, including saline soils.
CARE :Â Low maintenance and tolerant of harsh conditions, requires little care once established. Fertilise with a native slow release fertiliser once a year.

- Collect: Gather brown seed-heads between July and February that come off easily in your hand. Dry them for a week, rub them by hand, and sieve to extract the tiny orange-brown seeds. [1]
- Germinate: Mist lightly with water and keep the tray in a warm, semi-shaded spot. Germination usually takes 3 to 5 weeks
