Cape Gooseberry – Phyllis Peruviana seeds

Approx 10 seeds per packet.

Easy to grow.  Likes full sun.  Tasty for snacking,  salads or for jams and chutneys.  Fruit is protected by a natural paper husk and plant appears pest resistant.  Add compost before planting into well drained soil, give a regular weak liquid feed monthly.  Grows up to 1M high with support and has a bushy growth habit.  Sometimes referred to as a Ground Cherry.
