A seed has so much exponential potential to grow a huge amount of food when planted, grown to maturity, seeds saved then replanted, ad infinitum! Our garden is nestled within suburbia on the Adelaide Plains, South of the city. We grow mostly edibles and delight in finding unusual and tasty fruits and vegetables that taste good and grow easily. No commercial pesticides are used in the garden which is also a home for chickens, bees, blue tongues, lots of bird and insect life, the occasional possum and a couple of canines . We grow in ground, in pots and wicking beds and love to share our abundance with family, friends and neighbours. Selling some seed is a way to subsidise the cost of garden inputs like seed raising and potting mixes, to be able to share easy to grow seeds and seedlings on the local Grow Free cart. Building a self sufficient, grounded community and encouraging others to discover the health and wealth to be found in their own yard is the vision.
