Watermelon Sugar Baby seeds

– Spring ans Summer crop
– Sow direct or in small pot and plant out once soil has warmed and there is no longer a risk of frost
– Requires temperatures of around 18-20°C for germination
– Sow in rows 40-60cm between plants and in rows 120cm apart
– If sowing direct, plant 3-4 seeds 15mm deep in mounds, later thinning to the two strongest plants
– Plant in a free-draining soil in a position with full sun
– For best results fertilise and keep well watered
