This rare pea was found in a market in India, it produces beautiful bi-colour pink and purple flowers followed by unusual, attractive golden yellow podded peas which can be eaten like snow peas. Best eaten young or to medium age where it can be added to stir fry’s.
Details: Sow direct in Autumn to Spring in a sunny position with well drained soil. Golden Podded Pea is an annual vigorous climber to 2m and will need a trellis or support. Needs soil to be10-20 degrees celsius, so avoid winter planting if you live in a cold frosty climate. 20 Seeds.
