Native Frangipani Hymenosporum Flavum seeds

This homegrown organic plant has produced its first seeds and are now ready to share. I have it planted in a large tub and appears happy and healthy.

Grows easily from seed.

Although seed can be sown most of the year in many parts of Australia seed is generally best sown in spring or autumn, avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year. The optimum germination temperature for germination is around 18-22°C

Soak in warmish water for 24 hours

Sow seed on a aerated seed-raising mix and cover to a depth of 1-2mm  Mix with perlite or vermiculite

Place in  warm shaded / semi-shaded position to prevent dying out at all times

Germination should occur in 14-28 days depending on the temperature and conditions.
