Gomphocarpus Cancellatus Cotton Bush Milkweed seeds

Monarchs Matter 4 Seeds

Beaumont, South Australia, Australia

$3.00

Homegrown Host Plant  Organic Viable Seed….range of Milkweeds are shown in the gallery images and other listings

The most common of Milkweeds but the most hardy and longest living.  I’ve grown and sold many plants and seeds over many years and this plant continues to be important to those raising Wanderers and Lesser Wanderers.
It can go directly in situe or put into pots. Doesn’t mind being moved and tough once established. Sow onto well drained soil or potting mix press seeds onto soil and cover with a coating of vermiculite. Keep moist not wet.

Packet contains x 20

It has never been a weed in my garden and removing the seed pods is an option.

7 in stock (can be backordered)

Got something to discuss?

These grow near me on the Fleurieu for many years. This year they appear withered and have clusters of snails living on the stems resulting in many less butterflies this year. How can I rejuvenate these established plants?

Thankyou for your question I would remove the snails and you could cut back a little. Even though they are tough plants a little bit of deep soaking helps. They can be dug and repotted and seeds collected. Hope that helps and a worthy plant to have growing.
