Hollyhock Single Yellow seeds

Hollyhock is an herbaceous short-lived perennial or biennial, best grown as an annual.  Large flowers bloom on tall spikes of approximately 150cm.  They may require staking in exposed situations.  Planted at the back of the border or as a feature they are delightful, easy to grow and easy care.  The flowers are long lasting and open from the bottom of the stem to the top.  Self-seeds in the right conditions, or seed can be collected at end of flowering time.
