Daikon Radish (Raphanus sativus)
Grows very quickly up to 40cm long and 10cm wide
Likes rich soil. Keep well watered.
Light mild flavour compared to regular radishes
Will withstand light frost
Great green manure and/or for soil decompaction. If you are in a very cold climate with hard frosts or snow: plant in Autumn and Daikon will naturally die and begin decomposing after a heavy killing frost. Then soil will be conditioned ready for spring.

Sow all year in tropics/subtropics/temperate climates
Sow spring-autumn in cooler climates

Approx 1 gram or 120 seeds per packet (100-140 seeds per gram)
