Calendula officinalis.
Annual growing up to 20 cm.
A dwarf variety is suitable for pots and borders that produce large flowers in apricot, orange, light yellow and yellow shades that make excellent cut flowers.
Bon Bon Dwarf Mix is a versatile plant used in containers, beds, borders, mass planting and pollinator gardens where it attracts beneficial insects.
Calendula has been used since at least the 12th century for culinary and medicinal purposes. Its flower petals are edible and have a slightly bitter and peppery taste.
Calendula plants typically self-seed in the garden, dropping their seeds on the soil at the end of the season; if left undisturbed, they should germinate and grow again the following season.
It is adaptable to most soils and conditions, provided it is sunny, but prefers rich, moderately moist, and well-drained soils.
