Annual to 60cm. Erect plant producing light green leaves and vivid red flowers. Good for beds, borders and as a cut flower. Also known as “Corn poppy” and “Field poppy”. The flowers are used to commemorate the First World War.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in an open sunny position. Tolerant to poor sandy soils and is drought and frost resistant.
