Alstroemeria – Princess lily Red

Sold as small rhizomes. 4 rhizomes per packet.

Please note: In spring, when the soil warms up rhizomes could start to sprout. At the time of ordering, if our rhizomes are sprouted, you will get a clump of sprouted rhizomes. A clump usually has 3 or 4 young plants. You need to plant them in a pot or in the ground as soon as you get them.

Plant rhizomes in well drained soil where there is full sun or semi shade. Better to plant them in a pot first and them transfer to the ground. Be patient! Rhizomes might take some time to develop shoots. Grows up to a height of about 1 meter. These plants are drought and frost tolerant. Once established minimum care needed. Produce flowers through out the year. Flower stems are about 20 -40 cm long and great as cut flower.
