Butterfly Pea is a nitrogen fixing legume that can be grown as a cover crop, improving the soil in the process. Dried flowers are commonly used in teas and as a natural food dye.

Hi Gilbert, I’ve had night temperatures of below 8deg and day temps of around 15 with no issues. The best temps for them are between 15-30degree C.

Hi Jenny, I would plant it in the spring when the temperature is warming up they are quite hardy so feel free to experiment with sowing earlier.
