Sensitive Plant / Mimosa Pudica seeds
Burrundon BotanicsDungibara Country, Glen Esk, Queensland, Australia
$4.00
This is one of the most interesting plants you will probably ever grow. It closes its leaflets at the slightest touch and it even responds to loud noises and the dark. My kids absolutely love playing with it and I can’t resist touching it as I go by as well.
Please grow in a pot because these will try to escape your garden. Sensitive plants have actually become naturalised across much of coastal Queensland but very few people know how useful they actually are as a herb. Sensitive plants are used in traditional medicines in a range of different ways, with all parts of the plant being useful. Leaves are known to improve the functioning of the central nervous system and the roots and stems are said to aid digestion. The flowers can be used to garnish baking and cooking, and leaf tea can reduce stress and encourage quality sleep.

Seeds looked viable and good quality. I planted them. Too recently to say anything about germination rate but looked like they should. Packaging was good too. Arrived quickly.

The packaging was excellent, and the delivery was very satisfying. We’ve already successfully grown several plants, and my child is very happy. Highly recommend purchasing from them.
