Scarlet Runner Beans seeds

Scarlet runner beans , or seven year beans, were a wonderful addition in my garden last season.

They prefer growing between 10deg and 30 deg Celsius otherwise flowers will either not form or fall off.

long green pods . Choose to either pick early and eat pod and all…. Or pick at swollen pod stage for dried beans.

Once the flowers get going in the temp sweet zone they are prolific, we were eating these for weeks!

They are a great addition for beautiful flowers as well as to provide a LOT of food.
