Pigeon Pea is a shrubby type tree that grows to about 3 metres in height. It’s a great permaculture pioneer plant when starting out. They grow quite quickly, and the leaves can be used for a chop and drop mulch. The peas can be eaten fresh or used as a dry pea in a dhal. Possums love the new little seedlings to snack on so it is a good idea to protect young plants until they are well established.

Packet contains 30 veganically grown seeds.

Hi, How long do the seeds take from germination to maturity? Which season do they flower? How many times do they flower in a year?
