By far the prettiest hibiscus ever! This Australian hibiscus is perfect for grey water spots, I have mine growing on the side of the house with grey water from the washing machine, it loves that spot and flowers every time I do a wash! – all spring / summer.
It has an open habit and has reached 3m already (only 3 years old) the books say it only grows 3m. It naturally occurs in open forests from the central coast of New South Wales to central Queensland, a hardy species in a range of soils and climates. But will be cut back by frosts. Plants can be pruned back by about one-third if needed to maintain a bushy shape. The species prefers full sun or light shade.
I had a whole big collection of these seeds after one summer, and the whole lot was stolen 1000’s and 1000’s. It is a high demand shrub. Lucky I was able to collect more, as this plant flowers all year. I will ‘will’ the thief to get cancer and die.
For most seeds (unless otherwise stated): Sow Spring – Lightly cover and keep moist until germination – best to do in the hot before a rain event. Grow seedling over the spring/summer in shade house with ideal conditions, then plant out autumn with occasional watering for the first 2 years.

Seeds are usually collected from tree/plant shown in photo, this one was growing at Gunnedah, NSW. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

And my seller promise; if you purchase from me, I will send it to you.
I use recycled packaging. And I make a note of sending more seeds than stated in page listing. Plus, I’m a definite advocate for ‘organics’ as much as possible, there are no pesticides at my place!
