Coriandrum sativum

Sowing instructions:

Can be direct sown outdoors or in punnets in cool seasons: growing during the warmer seasons may cause the plant to bolt.

Seed should be sown at a depth of 10mm. Germination rates can be improved by soaking seed in water up to 24 hours.

Sow at 15-20cm intervals.

Plant information:

Seedlings emerge 10-21 days after sowing.

Plants grow up to 60cm tall and up to 30cm wide (depending on plant spacing).

Avoid disturbing roots if transplanting from punnets: this can cause plants to bolt to seed.

Coriander can be harvested after the plant is more than 15cm tall with multiple stems.

Liquid feeding will encourage lush growth.

Approx 50 seeds in a packet.
